Warm fuzzies

24Feb09

Two good things this month brings are flowers and pancakes; really, what more do you need!? A huge bouquet was sheepishly carried in to the house by my hubby on the friday evening before Valentine’s day, and the flowers are still going strong now. They are thirsty little blossoms, but very pretty – he chose [...]

Snow? Tick. Coffee? Tick. Lack of anything worth watching on tv? Pretty much “tick”. So is the bracket for the shiny new tv now installed on the wall of the living room..? Nope. It’s all over. Wednesday nights have once again become redundant and empty after Phil & Kirsty. I’ve lost the ability to entertain myself without a bunch of hapless, arrogant twerps squirming under the kind of pressure only national tv and the lure of a chunky salary can generate. I am so pleased Lee won.

I love rainbows. This one found me in Woodbridge last friday after it chucked it down intensely for about 2 minutes in the middle of glorious sunshine. This little guy was the only one who didn’t hop away as we walked past. Sweeeeet. After many evenings of teenage nostalgia, the My So-Called Life dvd has [...]
