Being someone who has to be grabbed around the wrist and pulled away from kitchenware shops, this topic wasn’t likely to cause me any trouble. Except perhaps, narrowing it down to just one item. So I didn’t bother; these are some of my favourite kitcheny things – generally if it’s pink, it’s in. Maybe I should have photographed more of our beautiful Siemens Porsche kettle, since I’d be lost (not to mention grumpy) without my regular mugs of tea; but it’s not pink, and also technically Lloyd’s – he wanted a touch of boy-chic in the kitchen. The rabbit kitchen roll holder was a gift from my big sister, who clearly knows our taste very well…

Mmmmm, I think I’m going to have to go and make some of Hannah’s butternut squash muffins; or, as we nicknamed them, butternuffins. Yum!
